County Championship/National Dates
Above County Championship events at Hingham are 9am book-on for 9-30am start
Please note: Due to all Norfolk County Championships now being played at Hingham, which is a 10 mat venue, an extra day (Saturday) has been provisionally booked for the Singles & Pairs events. Players entering County Championships are awarded points that will appear on the County Team Points Table. The latest table can be found by clicking on the County Team tab. These points are accrued over a two year basis and the Top 30 earn an invite into the Norfolk County Squad. The table is updated once all County Championships have been completed.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS – Where to stay?
In 2017 the main four days of the ESMBA
National Championships will be held at Melton and District Indoor Bowls Club,
Bowling Green, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE13 0FA for the first time. The
distance from Norwich is just over 111 miles if you use the A47 route towards
Kings Lynn – Peterborough – Stamford and the journey time is about 2 hours and
34 minutes. The distance from Great Yarmouth is just over 133 miles, with a
journey time of 2 hours 49 minutes, if the A47 route is used.
