Hempnall emerged from their top of the table clash at home to Horsford with a narrow 6-4 win that keeps them at the top of the South Norfolk League. Two big wins, 21-7 for Neil Davidson’s triple against Roger Frank’s triple and 23-5 for Keith Cooke’s triple against David Crosby’s triple, gave the home side a huge shot advantage. But the visitors dug in to earn four valuable points as Horsford’s John Aggas skipped triple beat Paul Baker’s triple 14-9 and Chris Woodhouse’s triple beat Charlie Archer’s triple 17-10. Forncett raced to a maximum 10-0 home win against Saxlingham winning all four games heavily. Martin Humphrey, Paul Lovett & Mark Watson won 33-2, Bryan Preece, Sally Lovett & Tony Ottewell won 22-5, Phil Watson, Gill Coleman & Nigel Youngman won 17-10 and Ron Butler, Linda Preece & Becky Humphrey won 19-6.
