Thetford still lead the way at the top of the Winter Afternoon League but were held to a 5-5 draw, 40-40 on shots, at home to fifth placed Shropham Green. Thetford’s Erika Thomas, Peter Harvey & Kacy Suffolk won 14-8 and Sue Colledge, Clive Eke & Neil Thomas added a 10-5 win but Shropham Green hit back with a 12-9 win for Barrie Vinton, David Aldous & Kevin Tingey and a 15-7 win for Michael Godbold, Jane Vinton & Clive Offer. Second placed Diss gained ground with a 7-3 win away to Shropham Red where Jill Davidson, Gill Coleman & Russell Davidson won by 17-5. In the other recent result Shropham Green won 6-4 at Hingham.
