Cambridgeshire Seniors built up a substantial lead in the first leg of the latest two leg challenge match against Norfolk Over 60’s. The first leg took place at March Indoor Bowls Club in Cambridgeshire on Thursday and the home side won on four mats in the opening session. The second session was drawn with Norfolk wins coming from Billie Barker, Richard Moore & Bob Oatway with an 18-5 result and Will Townsend, Andy George & Terry Newby with a 10-3 win. Only Nigel James, Lesley Turner & Jane James won for Norfolk in the third session as Cambs Seniors stretched their lead to 18-6 on points.
