Defending Breckland League champions Wymondham got off to a winning start with an 8-2 away win at Thetford. Jack Marshall, John Jeffery & Chris Mann opened with a solid 21-13 win against Jason Martin’s triple but Clive Eke, Peter Scarborough & Neil Thomas hit back for the home side with an excellent 18-9 win against Billie Barker, Simon Warnes & Debbie Sparham 18-9. Wymondham won on the other two mats as Val Vardy, Laura Hawksworth & Jon Sparham won 32-8 and Hayley Osborne, Steve Easter & Melvyn Barker won a tight match 14-13 against Chloe Suffolk’s triple.
