First Bus shrugged off the disappointment of losing their opening City League match by winning their second by 12-2 at home to defending champions Horsford Gold. It proved to be a bad night for Horsford Gold playing their first match of the season as only Mick Dale’s triple scored points beating David Sharpe’s triple. Di Quadling, David Quadling & Bob Oatway led the way for First Bus beating John Bugg’s triple 13-5. Costessey had also lost their opening match of the season but won their second by beating Horsford Blue 12-2 in Horsford. Malcolm Southgate, Ray Bulley & Mike Ottaway were in great form winning 22-3. Taverham won their opening match 10-4 at home to Windows.
