The Norfolk Memorial Charity 3-Bowl Pairs is set to take place at Hingham Sports & Social Club on Sunday 7^th April. The Memorial Charity Pairs is an opportunity for short mat bowlers to join together in remembering all the fellow bowlers and friends we have lost throughout the years as well as contributing to a worthwhile cause selected by the winners. Over the past twelve months we have said goodbye to several valued members of the Association with the tragic death of Rob Cranston in an industrial accident coming as a particular shock to us. The NCSMBA Management Committee is aware that maybe not all our members are aware that we have a special day every year when we pay tribute to those we have lost. A £4 entry fee per person (£8 a pair) and a raffle prize is all it takes to participate in a great day of bowls dedicated to their memories. Please encourage your fellow club members to join in the only official charity event organised by the NCSMBA each year – and enjoy a great day of social bowls. All entries should be sent to Chris Mann, 26 Sawmill Close, Wymondham, NR18 0TJ with cheques made payable to NCSMBA. All club secretaries have already received entry forms. Please note that entry forms sent out earlier in the season have Chris Mann’s former address on them so please ensure they are sent to his new address.
