Ray & Barbara Ayers of Horsford Gold lifted the City Pairs Championship title beating Chris Woodhouse & Vic Webster of Horsford Heroes 9-5 in the final at Costessey. After all six competing pairs had played their two games they all had two points after winning one and losing one game each. Only two of the pairs had a positive shot difference which earned them a place in the final. The Ayers had with a shot difference of +4 after winning 9-4 against Thorpe Marriott’s Derek Sheldrake & Tony Turner but losing 5-4 against Lesley Crowe & Steve Hall of First Bus. Woodhouse & Webster had a shot difference of +17 after losing 6-3 to Jarrolds pair Steve Andrews & David Snodgrass but beating First Bus pair David Sharpe & Rex Cox 20-0.
