Broome now hold a ten point lead at the top of the Waveney League after a resounding 8-1 home win against bottom of the table Haddiscoe. Wortwell won a tough match away to Earsham by 6-3 and hold second spot in the table 4.5 points ahead of Earsham. The other match of the week was between two bottom half teams with Carlton winning 6.5 to 2.5 at home to Ilketshall. In the Coastal Cup League Bradwell Dynamos have taken a firm hold on the top spot. An 11-7 away win at local rivals Bradwell Acorns was followed by a 13-5 home win against another local rival Bradwell Robins. Gorleston Blue made it three wins in a row with a 13-5 home win against Woodbastwick Eagles.
