Bradwell Acorns are champions of the Coastal League after winning their last game of the league competition 16-2 at Gorleston Links Blue. Their chief challengers for the title, local rivals Bradwell Dynamos, won their final match by 13-5 at home to Woodbastwick Eagles. As it turned out they would have needed a 17-1 home win to pip Acorns for the title on shot difference. The early season result when Acorns won 12-6 away to Dynamos obviously proved a pivotal moment. Dynamos also finished runners-up last season behind Woodbastwick Owls. Bradwell Acorns have seen a vast improvement on last season when they finished fourth and 51 points adrift of Dynamos and will be delighted to take the title. After Christmas the Coastal Cup season begins with Dynamos the current cup holders. Acorns finished one off the bottom that time but will be looking to do much better this time around.
