Bradwell Dynamos lead at the top of the Coastal League is now just six points despite winning 12-6 at home to Woodbastwick Owls. Local rivals Bradwell Acorns gave their title hopes a huge boost with a superb 18-0 away win against Gorleston Links Red. Both teams have two games to play before the end of the Coastal League season. Third placed Woodbastwick Owls won 10-8 at home to Gorleston Links Blue in a match where they would have been expected to pick up more points. The Owls are now eight points behind second placed Acorns and only have one match to play. Waveney League leaders Broome slipped to a 7-2 defeat at Carlton, Second placed Bradwell also lost on their travels going down 5.5 – 3.5 at Earsham. Wortwell moved off the bottom of the table after winning 5.5 – 3.5 at home to Ilketshall and winning 7-2 at Haddiscoe.
