The ESMBA Open Pairs event was held at Melton Mowbray on Saturday where Chris Willies of Watton Expendables & Jack Marshall of Wymondham finished as runners-up and Wymondham’s Jack Pye & AJ Brown reached the semi-finals. Both Norfolk pairs were defeated by Peter & Steven Roberts of Greater Manchester. This was the first ESMBA Open event of the season with the next one being the Open Singles on 12th October which takes place at Solihull IBC. Hingham Sports & Social Club is the venue for the third event, the ESMBA Open Fours, which will take place on the 26th October. The ESMBA Open Triples is on 25th January at Dorset Golf Resort while the new Open Over 55 Triples is set for the 22nd February at Melton Mowbray IBC. All events are run by ESMBA Competition Organiser Nicky Tresadern who is pictured with the winners and runners-up.
