The top of the table clash in the City of Norwich League saw leaders Horsford BC suffer their first defeat of the season losing 13-1 at Horsford Heroes. But a 12-2 defeat for Horsford Heroes at Costessey, while Horsford BC won 14-0 at home to fourth placed First Bus, meant that Horsford BC lead the table by 26 points with a game in hand over the Heroes. Third placed Jarrolds were held to a 7-7 draw by British Rail and Sprowston were also held to a 7-7 draw by visitors First Bus. After a run of defeats bottom club Taverham won for the first time this season beating mid-table Framingham Earl 12-2 but then suffered a 12-2 home defeat against County Council.
