Horsford staged a good comeback against visitors Connaught in the South Norfolk League. Connaught enjoyed a great start as Bob Oatway’s triple beat David Crosby 11-9 and Julie Bruiges, David Flatt & Richard Broad beat Roger Frank’s triple 22-10. The second half saw the tables turned as Christine Warnes, Mick Dale & Chris Woodhouse ran out 31-5 winners against Mike Minshull’s triple and Carol Aggas, Margaret Harman & John Aggas beat David Aldous 24-13 for a 6-4 home win on points. In their last match of the year Horsford enjoyed a comfortable home win by 10-0 against Mulbarton with Carol Aggas, Margaret Harman & John Aggas winning 30-5 and Lyn Frank, David Dewing & Roger Frank winning 27-3. This result puts Horsford into second place, just six points behind leaders East Harling, but Horsford have the advantage of a game in hand going into 2025.
