Northants visited Hingham to play Norfolk in the last game of the Eastern England Over 60’s League and a narrow win gave them the title. With Cambridgeshire off the pace this season it has been a close race between Norfolk and Northants and Norfolk needed to beat Northants by three points to win the title. Unfortunately for Norfolk, the visitors got the better of the final session winning on five mats while Norfolk won on three. This left Northants winners on the day by 18-16 on points and league champions by just four points. The League’s Presentation Day will be held at Hingham this season on 27th April.
