Hempnall clinched the South Norfolk League title once again after a resounding 10-0 home win against Hingham. Owen Cranston and Neil Davidson opened with a 24-9 win in the pairs while Tim Stockwell’s triple won 20-9. Kerry Greenacre and Keith Cooke added a 16-10 second half win and Paul Baker’s triple completed the clean sweep with a narrow 12-11 win. Horsford are runners-up finishing nine points behind Hempnall. Both Hempnall and Horsford won 11 games each and lost three during the season but Hempnall’s home and away double against Horsford, scoring 14 points against Horsford’s 6, proved to be vital.
