As previously reported the Norfolk County Team Management made the decision to enter both Norfolk Premier and Norfolk “A” into the I.C.C Consolation events following a decision by the ESMBA to ask counties to decide if they wished to enter. This followed both teams failure to qualify for the I.C.C main competition knockout rounds. In the Premier Consolation only three counties have decided to enter so a draw was made to determine which two of them would play a semi-final match and which team would receive a bye straight into the final. Norfolk Premier have received the bye into the final while Gloucestershire Premier will face Surrey Premier in a semi-final match. In the “A” Team consolation knockouts Norfolk “A” have been drawn to play Wiltshire in the quarter-finals on the weekend of 12/13th February while Surrey “A” will play Gloucestershire “A”. Cambridgeshire and Oxfordshire “A” have received byes into the semi-finals which will be played on the weekend of 12/13th March. The finals of both competitions will take place at Solihull on 3rd April.
