Well known impressionist and comedian Jon Culshaw has been announced as the headline act in the Atlas Theatre at Potters Resort on the Potters Cup Weekend in September. Culshaw rose to fame in 1998 on Capital Radio by impersonating William Hague in a spoof phone call to Downing Street and was put through to Tony Blair. He has since starred in “Dead Ringers” on BBC and played David Bowie in BBC’s “The Final Take.” Culshaw also hosted “Alter Ego” on ITV and in the heady days of “Spitting Image” he voiced over 40 characters. He is regarded by many as Britain’s best impressionist. There are limited three night places still available for the 20th Annual Potters Cup Weekend at a special price of £274.50, a huge reduction on the brochure price of £398 per person. As always all meals, the fabulous entertainment in the Atlas Theatre and entry into the Potters Cup in the International Arena are all included. Details and entry forms can be found on the Norfolk County Short Mat Bowls Association website by clicking on the INFORMATION tab and then OPEN COMPETITIONS or by phoning the Competition Organiser Teresa Goldsmith on 01603 403628.
