Defending Breckland League champions Wymondham continue to inflict serious damage on visiting teams. This time Hingham were on the receiving end of another maximum win by Wymondham who won 10-0 on points and 101-36 on shots. Chris “Blazer” Mann skipped his triple to a 25-6 win and Debbie Sparham’s triple also weighed in with another nineteen shot win recording a 27-8 victory. Jon Sparham’s triple added a 24-10 win and Jack Pye won 25-12. The two clubs chasing Wymondham, Carleton Rode & Connaught “A”, met head to head in Attleborough with home side Connaught winning a tight match 6-4 on points and 61-59 on shots. Sylvia Parsons is a difficult player to beat as Neil “Singles Specialist” Davidson found out as his Carleton Rode triple slipped to a 15-14 defeat. Bob Oatway’s Connaught triple inflicted heavy damage on the visitors though as he beat fellow County player Graham Mobbs 23-8. For the visitors Terry Newby edged home by just 14-13 against Owen Secker but Russell Davidson will be delighted with a 23-10 win against Joe LiRocchi’s triple but it was just not enough to earn the match points. Other results saw Harling Unicorn win 7-3 at Banham, Forncett beating Shropham 10-0 and Banham winning 8-2 at home to Harling Griffins.
