Thorpe Marriott have kicked off the NCSMBA Summer League Division One season with a 6-2 home win against First Bus. Jenny Walker, Ted Redwood & John Jarvis were in good from against Malcolm Carman, Linda Tooes & Colin Coman winning by 24-16 and Sheila Redwood, Ted Griffin & Andy George produced a 16-6 win against Sue Hunt, Sue Fox & Peter Fox. Mandy Marshall, Sylvia Turner & Tony Turner added a third win for Thorpe Marriott beating Lesley Crowe, Steve Hall & David Sharpe 22-8. The only First Bus win came in the second half as Di Quadling, David Quadling & Bob Oatway beat Janet Pinchen, Richard Perkins & Kath Frost 18-10.
