East Tuddenham have turned up the heat on their title rivals in the Bure League. They entertained Woodbastwick and recorded a comfortable 8-2 win. Jean Woods, Laura Hawksworth & Chris Mann stormed to a 26-8 win against Derek Sheldrake’s triple, Melly Woods’ triple won 15-8 and Robin Amos’ triple won 16-8. Woodbastwick collected two points courtesy of David Brawn, Norma Jablonowski & Peter Jablonowski who beat Albert Palgrave, John Turner & Simon Willies. The next night at Horsford BC they won 8-2 with Elaine Willies, Robert Howlett & Melly Woods beating Paul Isgate’s triple 19-10, Chris Mann’s triple winning 17-10 and Robin Amos winning 12-9. Horsford’s only win was claimed by Barbara Russell, Dennis Seaton & Terry Raisbury against Jean Woods, John Turner & Simon Willies.
