Geoff Payne of South Norfolk League side Saxlingham Nethergate has become the first bowler to be given Honorary Membership of the Norfolk Over 60’s. Geoff recently reached his 90th birthday and was one of the original players when the Norfolk Over 60’s was launched in 1999 by Teresa Goldsmith and Avril Grapes on behalf of the NCSMBA. Geoff has been an integral part of the squad ever since and has captained the side on many occasions as well as travelling on their various trips over the years.
