The Breckland League season has seen hot favourites Wymondham straight into their stride. In an 8-2 away win against Connaught “A” new signing Steve Easter was leading for Brian Saunders & Jack Pye as they recorded the night’s biggest win of 28-4 against Sheila Bragg’s triple. Wymondham followed this up with a maximum 10-0 win at home to Connaught “B” scoring 123 shots against 32. Billie Barker, John Jeffery & Jon Sparham (pictured) top scored with a 42-7 win, Mary Fisher, Melvyn Barker & Chris Mann won 30-8, Hayley Stratton, Steve Easter & Mark Linsdell won 29-12 and Pat Saunders, Laura Hawksworth & Debbie Sparham won by 22-5. Carleton Rode eased to a 9-1 home win against Forncett to make it two wins from their opening matches. Connaught “A” won 8-2 at Harling Unicorns with Lee Fallows’ triple winning 18-8, Sheila Bragg’s triple winning 19-9 & Owen Secker’s triple winning 20-16. Harling Griffins beat Connaught “B” 10-0 but lost 8-2 at Hingham while Banham won 7-3 at Shropham.
