After East Tuddenham drew 12-12 away to Horsford Heroes in the first leg of the Bure Cup Final home advantage was always going to be an important factor in the second leg at East Tuddenham. Robert Howlett, Gerald Potter and Chris Mann won their games by 5-2 and 10-2 against Mark Tuttle & Chris Woodhouse respectively. Elaine Willies, Joe Brown and Melly Woods came from behind in their first game to win 7-4 against Chris Woodhouse and added a tight 6-4 win in their second game against Mark Tuttle. Chrissie Turner, John Turner and Gary Best were also in good form with wins of 12-1 against John Aggas and 9-2 against Sue Fox. Gillian Amos, Robin Amos and Simon Willies won 10-2 in their first game against Sue Fox but did slip to a 3-2 defeat in a low scoring second game against Carol Aggas, Richard Dix & John Aggas.
