Bob Carter are through to the Norwich Cup Final after beating Wymondham in both legs of their semi-final clash. The first leg was at Wymondham where the home side were hoping to build themselves a lead to take to Drayton for the second leg but it was not to be. It was Bob Carter who won on the night beating the home side 9-7 on points. In the second leg the first session of triples were shared but Carter then won both pairs games to move 15-9 ahead on aggregate. Carter then made sure of their place in the final against Connaught “A” by winning both second half triples games leaving them winners by 19-9 on aggregate. Wymondham will be disappointed to have been beaten on their own mats by their fierce rivals Bob Carter which left them a mountain to climb that proved beyond them.
