Bradwell Robins finally broke their duck in the Coastal Cup with a 10-8 away win on points at Gorleston Links Red after losing their first seven games. Their team for this win was comprised of Roger Squires, Barry Myhill, Mike Houghton, Mavis Squires, Jean Moore & Jenny Howell. Bradwell Acorns and Woodbastwick Owls played each other home and away with Woodbastwick Owls winning 12-6 at Bradwell Acorns while Bradwell Acorns won 11-7 at Woodbastwick Owls. Quite surprising results with home advantage normally so important in short mat bowls. Woodbastwick Eagles were held to a 9-9 draw at home to Gorleston Links Blue. This weeks results leave Bradwell Acorns 13 points clear of second placed Bradwell Dynamos but the Dynamos have two games in hand on their local rivals.
