SOUTH NORFOLK LEAGUE
Mulbarton are still seeking their first win of the season in the South Norfolk League after going down 10-0 at home to defending champions Hempnall. Kerry Greenacre, Jack Gray & Keith Cooke won 35-8 while Neil Davidson’s triple won 21-7, Charlie Archer’s triple won 22-5 and Paul Baker’s triple won by 24-5.

CITY OF NORWICH LEAGUE
Windows won 12-2 at home to British Rail to move up to third place in the City of Norwich League. Wendy Cheal, John Wade & Andy Drummee scored the evenings biggest win of 19-3 while Di Boswell’s triple won 15-4 and Mark Tuttle’s triple won 11-7. Mark Baker’s triple scored Rail’s only win of 9-6. Taverham continue to impress and had a great week with a 12-2 away win at Horsford Blue that followed a 10-4 away win at British Rail. Jane James, Fred Mathews & Brian Turner won 17-7 at Rail while Brian Turner’s triple won 13-5 at Horsford Blue.

WAVENEY LEAGUE
Wortwell won with 6.5 points to 2.5 points at home to Bradwell in the Waveney League. Leading the way for them were Colin Colden & Chris Roberts with wins of 17-5 & 9-5 in the pairs and Sheila Rusted, Robert Banbury & Keith Worsfield in the triples with wins of 6-5 & 8-7. Bradwell would have been hoping for a better result to put pressure on league leaders Broome. The leaders also slipped up as they had to settle for a share of the points away to Haddiscoe where both teams earned 4.5 points. Earsham kept in the title hunt with a 7-2 home win against Ilketshall.
BRECKLAND LEAGUE
Carleton Rode won 10-0 at Shropham and are now just ten points behind second placed Connaught "A" but have the luxery of two games in hand. Mike Newby, Tony Oram & Terry Newby won 20-6. Thetford were awarded 10 maximum points at home to Connaught "B" who could not forfill the fixture. Both Harling teams won with Griffins winning 7-3 at Connaught "B" while Unicorns won 6-4 at home to Hingham.
