Defending Breckland League champions Wymondham made it five straight wins with a 10-0 victory at home to Harling Griffins. Chris Mann’s triple won 33-11, Jack Pye’s triple won 32-4, Debbie Sparham’s triple won 25-11 and Jon Sparham’s triple won by 18-8 as they recorded another huge home win by 108- 34 on shots. Harling Griffins did better in their local derby away to Harling Unicorns where they won 6-4. Both teams won two games but Sid Burton’s triple clinched the match points with a 24-11 win that left Griffins 63-58 up on shots. Harling Unicorns also lost at home to Carleton Rode where the visitors celebrated a 10-0 win on points, 73-49 on shots. Terry Newby’s triple won by 22-12 and Trish Taylor’s triple won by 23-12. Forncett won 10-0 at home to bottom of the table Connaught “B” with Nigel Youngman’s triple winning 27-3 and remain second in the table. Thetford won for the first time this season, their visit to Shropham ended in them recording a 9-1 away win. Peter Scarborough’s triple top scored winning 16-9.
