If you are looking for a worthwhile Charity Triples event to enter this summer Wortwell Short Mat Bowls Club are holding a competition in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind on Saturday 31st August. It promises to provide a super day’s bowling and entries are limited to 16 teams. Teas, coffee, cakes & biscuits will be available and you are welcome to bring your own lunch. The book-on time is 9am for a 9.30am start and trophies will be awarded to the finalists. The competition will be held at Wortwell Community Centre (The Core), Tunbeck Close, Wortwell, Norfolk, IP20 0HS. Its always nice to play at a different venue, and meet bowlers you may not normally come across, so you might like to consider asking bowling colleagues at your club if they would be interested.
