City of Norwich League action saw Costessey record a solid 12-2 home win against First Bus. Cynthia Powell, Sheila Bragg & Mike Ottaway won 16-4 for Costessey while Lianne Mills was the only winning First Bus skip with a 16-12 result. This season has not seen many good results for Jarrolds so they will be pleased with a 10-4 home win against Thorpe Marriott who are currently in the leading pack. Peter Smart, Liam Andrews & Roger Hart led the way for Jarrolds with an 18-9 win. Windows also recorded a valuable home win beating British Rail 12-2 with Diane Halford, Di Boswell & Keith Halford winning 13-6. Following the resignation of David Dewing as City of Norwich League Chairman, Andrew Drummee of Windows has been appointed as the new Chairman. A City League meeting will take place on Sunday 2nd June at Horsford to discuss a draft Constitution to replace the current one.
