The draw for the first round of the revamped Norwich Cup, a straight knock-out competition, was made at the Norfolk Over 60s day at Hingham. First out of the bag were Harling Yellow who were drawn at home to local rivals Hingham. Harling Blue also received a home tie, and amazingly also against another local rival Connaught. Coastal League side Bradwell face a trip to Bure League side Hevingham while Wortwell of the Waveney League were drawn at home to Breckland League side Shropham. Holders Wymondham, along with Thetford, Taverham and Halvergate receive a bye into the second round. The play-by date for all first round ties is 17th November.
