Thetford held on to win the Summer Afternoon League despite losing their final three games all by 6-4. Thetford’s good mid season form had given them a good lead in the table and their rivals were unable to catch them as the league drew to an end in August. Thetford finished the season on 69 points, nine points ahead of second placed Hingham. Shropham were third on 57 points with Harling on 54 points.
