Thetford still top the Summer Afternoon League table after a convincing 10-0 home win against Harling. Kate Crawshaw, David Barnes & Jason Martin top scored beating Roger Braham’s triple 17-5 while Peter Harvey, Clive Eke & Chloe Suffolk all skipped their triples to victory. Second placed Shropham won 8-2 at home to Harling with Ian Cornwell, Richard Stevens & Andy Rawnsley recording a 15-7 win against Derek Ryder’s triple. But hopes of closing the gap on leaders Thetford were dashed at Hingham where Shropham suffered an 8-2 defeat. Eugene Gillam, Peter Giddings & Will Townsend were in great form for the home side beating Jim Delaney’s triple 19-6 while Richard Broad was Shropham’s only winning skip beating Sheila Bragg’s triple 10-7.
