Hempnall’s 8-2 away win at Forncett opened up the gap between the two of them to 15 points and moved Hempnall closer to another South Norfolk League title. Neil Davidson’s triple won 21-6 and Keith Cooke’s triple won 19-6 as two of Norfolk’s top players showed their class. Hempnall are seven points clear of second placed Horsford, who were without a game this week, but also have a game in hand over both of their title rivals. It was a great week for East Harling who moved up to fifth place with a couple of 10-0 wins. Mo Tarrant, Chris Jones & Ian Hartley scored a 29-7 win as Harling won at Mulbarton while Derek Ryder, Jill Hayman & Carl Sturgess won 23-9 as Harling scored another away win at Saxlingham.
