Hempnall are fifteen points clear in the South Norfolk League after an 8-2 away win at Hingham. The home side did not give Hempnall as easy ride though as three games could have gone either way and only Neil Davidson’s Hempnall triple produced a convincing win. Paul Baker’s triple beat Keith Thomas 12-10 and Jon Sparham’s triple beat Graham Tweed 15-12 to give Hempnall a 4-0 lead and Davidson’s 20-10 second half win against John Higgs made sure of victory. Margaret Hunter scored Hingham’s only win beating Norfolk Premier player Rob Cranston 13-12. Second placed Horsford kept their title hopes alive beating Saxlingham 9-1 with Chris Woodhouse and his triple notching up a massive 27-4 win. Peter Fox won 18-9 and Vic Webster won 18-12 but home skip Jane James was held to a 14-14 draw by Geoff Briggs.
