Latest South Norfolk League action saw second placed Connaught beat Hingham 8-2 with Mike Minshull’s triple enjoying an 18-7 win, the biggest of the match. Hingham did better at home to Saxlingham with John Higgs winning 21-6, Keith Thomas winning 19-6 & former Watton star Margaret Hunter winning 18-9 in an 8-2 points win. But Hingham slumped to a 10-0 home defeat against a determined Diss side which saw Karl Newby winning 17-12, Terry Newby winning 14-10, Keith Buck winning 11-8 & Russell Davidson completing the whitewash with a 14-13 win. Saxlingham recorded their only win of the season so far beating Wreningham 6-4. Geoff Payne’s triple won 17-11 and John Torbitt won 19-9.
