Wymondham extended their lead at the top of the Breckland League after beating Banham 10-0. The visitors only had nine players instead of twelve and under the unusual “local” Breckland League rules just three games were played with the fourth being awarded 8-0 to the home side. Under normal ESMBA rules all four games would have been played with three Banham triples playing without a number two. Melvyn Barker’s triple won 32-9, Debbie Sparham’s triple won 33-10 and Jon Sparham’s triple won 17-12. Second placed Carleton Rode beat Harling Griffins 8-2 and Griffins also lost 8-2 at Banham.
