The Norwich City League AGM was held at Horsford Bowls Club on Sunday 7th July. The meeting was very well attended, nearly all City Clubs were represented. The Chairman, Andy Drummee, welcomed all to the meeting and expressed his pleasure at such a good turn out.
The Constitution and League Rules document, revisions of which had been agreed at the previous meeting, was ratified and adopted. All clubs received a copy, along with the paperwork for the coming season.
Peter Smart together with his late wife, Pat, had been active in the League since 1994, as county delegate, league treasurer, secretary and fixtures secretary. Earlier this year Peter had decided to resign all his current posts. The Chairman outlined Peter’s dedicated service and thanked him for all he had achieved. On behalf of all the City clubs, he presented Peter with an engraved plate. All present expressed their appreciation. Peter will continue to serve the committee in an honorary position.
